The MLA should be hanged: Banda rape victim

New Delhi: The 17-year-old Dalit rape victim, who was released from jail on Saturday, told CNN-IBN that she still fears for her life because BSP MLA Purushottam Dwivedi and his supporters are threatening revenge.

The teenager says the MLA should be hanged for what he has done to her. She said that the she fled from the MLA's house when he tortured her for the third time following which the MLA sent his men, who beat her up and sent her to the police.

The victim said, "The MLA said he would make sure I never returned home and if I did, he would shoot me dead."
